Research Agenda

My current research agenda concerns, broadly,  the intersection of technology, politics, and society. More specifically my current avenue of research is exploring the impact of decentralizing the means of production and the impacts this might have on the state.

Other research interest concern the process of globalization and the impact this has on the ability of humanity to survive possible global catastrophes, as well as the role it has played in creating these possible catastrophes. The politics of Outer Space and Space Travel have a great impact on this as well.

I am also currently involved in research into the question of Sovereignty in the 21st century, with an eye towards the role of international institutions and devolution in changing the nature of state sovereignty and the Westphalian system.
